The Centre for Construction Innovation and the School of the Built Environment at the University of Salford are delighted to welcome you to the tenth annual North West Regional Construction Awards 2016. The Awards provide an exclusive opportunity for the North West built environment sector to celebrate outstanding examples of excellence, innovation and best practice. They aim to recognise exceptional companies and projects from across the region that have demonstrated strength, passion and commitment in a collaborative and sustainable manner.
Entries to the Awards are welcomed from large or small organisations, project teams and individuals involved in delivering building and civil engineering projects in the North West. We are particularly keen to recognise the contribution of smaller organisations and encourage them to apply across all categories of awards as well as to the SME category.
Being recognised by your peers for excellence in construction will bring enormous benefits to your business, helping you to attract new clients, cement existing relationships and raise your staff morale. The winners of these awards go forward to the National Awards in London in autumn 2016, to compete with awards from each English region and from Wales. The only way to get nominated for a Constructing Excellence National Award is to win a Regional Award. Regular entrants to the North West awards will notice some changes in the award categories, as all of the regions have sought to be more aligned for 2016.
Professor Peter McDermott, Chair of the Judging Panel, and Constructing Excellence in the North West, said: "These awards are pan-industry, cross-disciplinary and recognise more than the great projects delivered. All of the award categories are designed to find, reward and celebrate the best people and firms. The judges are looking for the people and firms who are demonstrating how collaboration and innovation are characteristics of the North West region; who act as encouragement to investors and policy makers that the potential for a "construction power-house" already exists – and who are delivering both economic, environmental and social value to our region".
In order to be rewarded for all your efforts you must take part in the Awards, so apply today! All entries will be considered by an independent panel of judges.
The 2016 Awards ceremony and dinner will take place on Thursday 30 June 2016 - Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
